KATIE BULGER : AMONG PITTSBURGH'S "FIFTY FINEST".

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Pittsburgh recently named its list of the city's "Fifty Finest" - a list of the most influential bachelors and bachelorettes in Pittsburgh. Among them, our own Katie Bulger was named for her work with fashionCURES and, most recently, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Dress for Success.

The "Fifty Finest" list is comprised of 25 men and 25 women throughout our region who are chosen based on a number of factors, including: demonstrated career success, community-mindedness, dating eligibility and the ability to raise funds and awareness for the CFF.

Katie is raising funds for the CFF throughout the summer with fashion-CURES events and corporate sponsorship. The annual fundraiser will culminate in August with a formal ball and the announcement of each candidate's fundraising success.

SUGAR recently contibuted to the Y.E.S Dress for Success Artwalk, a fashion show held at the Warhol Museum May 24th. The event showcased the fashion wares of local designers such as Kelly Lane and Emilee Kohan and several area boutiques. Katie matched SUGAR's couture with complimentary shoes from Pavement and eyewear from Eyetique. Click here to view a photo gallery of the event.

Y.E.S (Young Executives for Success) is a Pittsburgh initiative which raises funds and awareness for Dress for Success, a charity that assists underprivileged women by donating up to a week's worth of outfits to those seeking to re-enter the professional job market.
